Return Policy

At Akaroa Stargazing, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your online order, we offer a return policy to ensure your peace of mind.

Return Period:

You may return eligible items within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please note that the return period begins from the date of delivery.

Eligible Items:

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags intact.  

Certain items, such as beanies, hats, books are not eligible for returns.

Return Process:

Initiate a Return:

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@akaroastargazing.com or through our website's contact form.

Please provide your order number and the reason for your return.

Return Authorization:

Our customer service team will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions on how to return your item(s).  

Packaging and Shipping:

Please securely package the item(s) in their original packaging.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

It is highly recommended that you use a trackable shipping method.

Inspection and Refund/Exchange:

Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet our return policy requirements.

If the return is approved, we will process your refund to your original method of payment within 10 business days.

Refunds:

Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned item(s), excluding any original shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team immediately.

We will arrange for a replacement or refund, and we will cover the return shipping costs.  

Important Notes:

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return policy requirements.

Please retain your proof of postage or tracking number for your return shipment.

It is important to keep records of all transactions.
